Plastic Free

Shreveport Green survey seeks input on single-use plastic bags – Shreveport Times

Shreveport Green is asking citizens to share their thoughts about single-use plastic bags. The Neighborhood & Education Program is asking the public to take its brief online survey starting now through Nov. 4.

The survey is part of ongoing grant supported by Keep Louisiana Beautiful to reduce litter and plastic waste by making people aware of how many bags they collect, what they do with them and how they dispose of them.

Citizens who take the “Shreveport Plastic-Free Challenge” Survey, will receive a free plastic-free kit which includes: a tote bag, a refrigerator magnet, poster, and a car air freshener that contains a printed message reminding citizens to bring plastic bags to the store for recycling and to bring their own reusable tote bag when shopping.

For more information contact Ms. Calloway at 219-1888, ext. 20 or ccalloway@shreveportgreen.org. A link to the survey is available at: https://tinyurl.com/noplasticbags318.
